Award Recognition
The Tampa Bay Regional Recycling Partnership has been recognized for raising awareness about the environmental impacts of waste reduction and single-use plastics.
The Hillsborough County Planning Commission awarded the campaign partners with its Award of Excellence in both the Environmental Investment and Participation categories. Judges called the partnership “phenomenal and a great illustration of what can be achieved when we all work together” (Plan Hillsborough News Release).
Industry Recognition
The Tampa Bay Regional Recycling Partnership was invited to present at the joint Solid Waste Association of North America & Recycle Florida Today Summit in 2018 under the General Session, entitled “A Winning Message,” to discuss this first-of-its-kind partnership in Tampa Bay and different types of outreach (Summit Presentation).

Keep Pinellas Beautiful’s mission is to conserve and beautify Pinellas County’s natural environment through community engagement and education.
Keep Pinellas Beautiful provides volunteer opportunities that help develop individual responsibility and environmental stewardship. Cleaning Pinellas County public spaces, parks, neighborhoods, and shorelines is only part of the picture; it is about people working with people for the betterment of Pinellas communities. Through hands on participation, people are motivated and inspired with an environmental focus that develops into a true sense of pride and ownership. People feel empowered while volunteering because they immediately see the difference they are making in the health and appearance of their surrounding community.

Renuable
Renuable is dedicated to helping transform food scraps and organic materials into high-quality compost through drop-off locations, commercial services, and curbside pickups. By diverting organic material from landfills, it restores soil health and supports local gardens, schools, and farms. In doing so, Renuable empowers Hillsborough County to take meaningful action toward a sustainable, circular system that benefits both people and the environment.
